About Dan

Dan Cardillo is a New Orleans based educator and musician specializing in math, science, SAT and ACT prep tutoring. With nearly a decade of experience as a private tutor, Dan’s approach is centered on confidence-building and finding the unique approach that works best for each student. Whether the subject matter is music theory or mathematics, Dan provides the one-on-one coaching needed for students to improve their skills and grades.

Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the City College of New York in 2013 with a BFA in audio production and a Biology minor. He has been a private guitar tutor since 2008. In 2012 he began tutoring for SAT, ACT, high school math, physics, and biology. From 2012-2015 Dan worked as a private tutor for Carnegie Prep, a 12-time best of the Gold Coast award-winning test prep company. Dan was an ACT math instructor at College Track New Orleans, a non-profit after school program dedicated to helping students from low-income families get accepted to and graduate from a four-year college. Dan has experience with students ranging from the third grade through college and has also worked with students struggling with learning disabilities.
